🇺🇸Government Agency, United States
The Army Ballistic Missile Agency (ABMA) was a United States Army agency established in the 1950s to develop ballistic missiles. It was responsible for the development of significant missile systems, including the Redstone and Jupiter missiles. ABMA also played a crucial role in the early U.S. space program, as many of the scientists and engineers who worked at ABMA later transitioned to the newly formed NASA.
