Armée de l'Air, translated as the French Air and Space Force, is the air and space branch of the French Armed Forces. Established in 1909, it is one of the world's oldest air forces. Armée de l'Air is responsible for air defense, aerial warfare, reconnaissance, transport, and the projection of French air power globally. The force operates a diverse fleet of aircraft, including fighter jets, transport aircraft, helicopters, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
