Final Delta II Heavy launch and final launch from SLC-17 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The launch was delayed several days due to high-level winds and an issue with the rocket's propulsion system detected while the Delta 2 vehicle was drained of fuel.
The Gravity Recovery and Interior Laboratory (GRAIL-A and B) were two American lunar science missions in NASA's Discovery Program which used high-quality gravitational field mapping of the Moon to determine its interior structure. Launch trajectory was a low energy transfer via L1.
