EO-1 / SAC-C

SAC-C (from Spanish Satelite de Aplicaciones Cientificas-C, in English Satellite for scientific applications-C) is an Earth observation satellite from Argentina whose main objective is the study of the conditions and dynamics of the terrestrial and marine biosphere and environment. This satellite of about 500 kg also carries several payloads provided by NASA and other space agencies.

Earth Observing-1 (EO-1) is a NASA Earth observation satellite created to develop and validate a number of instrument and spacecraft bus breakthrough technologies. It was intended to enable the development of future Earth imaging observatories that will have a significant increase in performance while also having reduced cost and mass.
