KH-8 8 (Gambit-3 8)

The KH-8, also known as Keyhole-8 or Gambit-3, was the second generation of high-resolution reconnaissance satellites. It introduced a new camera system and used the Agena-D flight control stage. Its major subsystems included the photographic-payload section (PPS), satellite-control section (SCS), and booster vehicle. The camera system had a focal length of 4.46 meters and used a strip camera with optical components.
