Mission Details

Zeya

Zeya was designed by ISS Reshetnev. The payload is developed by the Military Academy Alexander Mojaisky at the request of the Space Forces of the Russian Federation.

It is a demonstrator of navigation and control technologies, it has also served as an amateur radio satellite. The equipment included communication technologies, a GPS and GLONASS receiver and a laser retro-reflector.

It is named after the Zeya River, which flows near the Svobodniy Cosmodrome.
