Ofek-3

Wiki

Ofek 3 is the first Israeli intelligence satellite. With a weight of 189 kg, it was placed in an elliptical orbit with a perigee of 366 km and an apogee of 694 km. The presence of an optical instrument onboard made Ofek 3 a step forward from its predecessors. However, it was not able to offer military-grade imaging. It is estimated that the satellite provided images with an accuracy of about 1 meter. Its expected life span was two years. It re-entered the atmosphere on October 25, 2000.
