Iran's first launch attempt. First flight of Safir-1. Due to a failure of the second stage, the launcher didn't reach orbit.
Omid
Omid is the first Iranian-built and launched satellite. It is a small technology satellite carrying an instrument to measure the space environment, and a GPS receiver modified for use in the unstabilized satellite.
