Fajr
Fajr is an experimental Earth observation micro-satellite with a mass of 52 kilograms and has the shape of a hexagonal prism 49 centimeters high and 35 centimeters in diameter. It is stabilized thanks to a cold gas propulsion system. It is powered by solar cells that cover the body of the satellite. Its main instrument is a camera providing images with a spatial resolution of 500 to 1000 meters. It also ships a GPS receiver of Iranian manufacture. The satellite is designed for a life of 1.5 years.
