Galaxy IIIC

Galaxy IIIC is a geostationary C- and Ku-band communications satellite operated by PanAmSat and later by Intelsat.

Galaxy IIIC was ordered by PanAmSat in August 1997 from Boeing Sapce Systems to be built on the BSS-702 paltform. It provides service for North, South and Central America. Galaxy IIIC operates with a total of 77 transponders; 24 uses C-band and 53 will use Ku-band. The spacecraft was designed for an end-of-life power of 15 kW.
