Galactic 02
The Galactic 02 mission was Virgin Galactic's sixth crewed spaceflight and SpaceShipTwo's second commercial mission. The crew comprised pilots CJ Sturckow and Kelly Latimer, Virgin Galactic's chief astronaut instructor Beth Moses, and customers Jon Goodwin, Keisha Schahaff, and Anastatia Mayers.
According to Virgin Galactic, Jon Goodwin became the first Olympian to travel to space, having competed in the 1972 Munich games. He also became the second person with Parkinson's to travel to space. Further, the other two customers, Keisha Schahaff and Anastatia Mayers, both from Antigua and Barbuda, became the first people from the Caribbean Islands to travel to space and the first mother-daughter pair to travel to space together. Anastatia Mayers also became the second youngest person to travel to space.
